Hi guys, since i had this pam 253, its been giving me trouble.. first is the subdial of chrono keep reset at different position -- sometimes goes to the middle. now basically its been late (10minutes /24 hours). now i have been reading on the movement type for A 7750 and for what i read and look at my 253 movement -- it look like the old A 7750 movement. The time i purchased it i asked for what type i am getting and dealer assured me it will be the new A7750 movement. Please help me, which one did i get?
PS: I read the topic by bignasty regarding different A7750. and the regulator is the give away to tell if it is the old A7750 movement.

I just need to be sure before answering back dealers email since he told me that it is new asian 7750.
It sucks being a noob and don't know sh#@ but i will keep on learning.
I know crick... you warned me already...

Thank you so much for your time,
Dan
and still learning to take better picture in the future

If it can replace... can it be repair ?????? or i ended up with paper weight.?? :(

the new one doesn't have the regulator "gear" yours appears to have. I agree, it looks like the older version. My 1 1/2 year old 212 has the very same movt as your image, even down to the rotor engraving. Most of the new 7750s I have seen are visually generic, no Cote d Geneve finish or text emblished on the rotor.
Mr. Enzo.... can my problems with chrono did not reset and to fast 10 minutes/24 hours can be fix? Thank you.

Sorry for my late reply. Most of the issues with the 7750 movement you have can be fixed with a full service.

I know my Pam 253 looks exactly the same, so I assume it is also a 21,000bph movement. Are there any decorated 28,800 movements? And have there been a lot of problems with these movements? I'm actually not sure I'd rather have the newer, plain movement showing beneath the presentation back of the pam 253.
