I've got a new IWC Le Petite Pilot from Lucy and the watch is working well but for some reason I cannot get the crown pushed back in after setting the time. The watch was definitely sent with the crown in the correct position but not it's standing off about 1/8" inch. Any help would be appreciated. Picture on the left is QC pic, on the right is after setting time. Thanks in advance

I am not completely familiar with that model but is it one that has a screwdown crown?

Yes - it is screw down crown. I was afraid to try and screw it down as when I turned it clockwise it felt like I was winding the watch. However this morning I spent some time on Google and then, after reading up, gave it a try. I pressed down while turning clockwise and noticed the crown was slowly making its way back towards the case until finally it was firmly against the case. All good now. Thanks.

That's good to hear. Sometimes depending on if the stem is the proper length you can feel it winding as you first start to screw down the crown. It's not going to hurt the movement in any way. Enjoy your new pretty!
