Help with crown guard

The crown guard on my PAM 029 got loose because both screws rotated ,presumably from the vibration of daily use. I remember reading about someone with a similar issue here and a suggestion about applying some substance to the thread that "locked" the screw in the tight position. Can any one of the experts here point me in the right direction. Thanks!
