Greetings

I just received my first rep today from watch station and I think there is a problem with the watch when ever the long seconds reaches second 56 the watch stops completely and I have to re push the red button to start it again and there only seconds at 9 chrono works and the whole each stops you can see the problem clearly in the attached videos https://vimeo.com/173155379https://vimeo.com/173155395
ofc i couldnt notice any other chrono working other then seconds, which really pisses me off.
Can someone guide me thru this and tell me what to do to get this thing fixed please?

Thanks in advance

Don't use the chrono in the 7750 movement. Is the rest of the watch running fine? If yes then leave it as-is.

Two choices. Send it back for repair or try to find a qualified watch smith to fix it locally. Either way it's going to be a pain in the azz.

im not using the chronos, but it forces me to when the long seconds stops at 56, and if i leave it it will stay there for as long as i leave it, i have to reset it, to start again and it will just stop after 56seconds of running, and sending it back might be the option for me just to cause them a little pain as they did to me.

You obviously are using the chrono since the long second hand only moves when the chrono is working.

The long second hand is the chrono seconds hand, you don't see the other chrono dials moving because they count minutes and hours, but as your stops a 56 seconds then needs reset the other dials will not move. The general consensus on the A7750 is not to use the chrono.

So just to recap:

The seconds for the watch are in the little circle at 9:00. You're using the stopwatch by pressing the red button.

Two things -
Yes, there is something wrong with the movement because it shouldn't stop like that, however the 7750 movements are known to be crappy when it comes to using the stopwatch. It's just an unfortunate reality of saving $3-4K on a watch.

HOWEVER, the seconds appear to be working fine.

So you have two options as has been suggested:
1. Send it back for repair/replacement. This takes a ton of time to do. I personally would not choose this option.

2. Stop using the chronograph and be a little bummed about it.

Either way, sorry this has happened to you. Buy from the forum in the future and you will have better luck.

Your problem lies in the chrono gear, part no 8000. The minute jumper lever attached to the chron gear is bent at the wrong angle, it's hitting at way too steep an angle. These can be tricky to adjust, just buy the gen eta part and fit it.

The watch costed about 50$°°..so i doubt it has a good movement inside.. Im a noob basically.. But im catching up on stuff in all forums..
