Hi folks!

I'm new to the Tudor reps and have spent the past couple of weeks pouring over the threads specific to the Pelagos rep. I received QC pics from Trusty, and I'm just wanting a sanity check that this alignment issue with the 5 o'clock marker isn't one that I should reject it for? As far as I can tell, everything else is fine, but I thought I saw a few threads where folks asked for another one because of marker alignment issues. Or is this as good as it generally gets? It's pretty much slightly rotated as in the photo below:

That’s not something you should reject for. That looks good. I’m contemplating the same watch but favoring blue dial/bezel at the moment.

I’d say the marker is spot on but your red lines are all over. The red line with the arrow pointing to it is not parallel with the edge of the dial so you guide is well out, that’s giving you a false reading.

This is why red lines are pointless

While we are at it looks like the triangle is about .67mm left of center

Thanks for the feedback. I definitely rushed my review of the QC pics and drew the highlights incorrect. Have already approved and now waiting for it to be shipped.

Nice looking watch - and to my eyes the 5 o'clock marker is pretty close to spot-on. Nice purchase :)

Tbh misaligned markers are pretty common, yours isn't the worse, for not say this exemple is looking good, i wouldn't reject it, and you can take the risk to get a 2nd one with really crooked/misaligned marker, the GL/RL is in your hands now depending your tolerance and if you like to take risks with a second try.

Looks good to me. Is it miyota or 2824? I think there are both movements in xf v4.

It’s a Miyota. There were no 2824’s I could find at any TD from XF. Fingers crossed that it’s fine. Currently waiting for the past couple days for shipping info..

After a very long delay, my watch has arrived! Quite pleased with it. I’m new to Tudors so it looks pretty damn Gen to me. The build quality is superb as are all the details.

Only problem I’ve run into is that my normal spring bar tools are too wide to fit the Tudor springbar opening on the end links. So I can’t swap to the rubber strap until I figure out the right width... the bracelet is pretty cool and I do really like the clasp expansion mechanism... but unfortunately it’s almost the entire width of my wrist, so I’ll likely be on the strap most of the time.

Are you saying the bracelet is too big or small?

I have the blue Pelagos. I love it and prefer it over a Rolex Sub, but I am sure I am in the minority there. They are gorgeous watches. I love the details of the dial.

With the bracelet sized for my wrist, the clasp itself ends up being a bit too wide to be comfortable. I really like the idea of the expandable clasp’s spring setting, but I found that because it requires so much more of the clasp end sticking out, that my wrist is too small to stay on that setting.

Overall I’m loving this rep! Can’t wait to get the proper springbar sized tool tomorrow so I can switch straps!

That's a great watch. As much as I love the bracelet, I also have a small wrist so mine lives on a nato strap or a rubber 'Crafter Blue' strap (my favorite)!

I like both but the 'crafter blue' rubber strap is amazing...

I also learned with the pelagos that 42mm is my limit :)
I prefer 39-40mm...
