Hi guys,

Looking for some help - and quick!

As above ; wore my 005 to take a dip in the pool on vacation and I've now got moisture on the inner glass..... [emoji24]

I'd checked the screws and ensured the crown was locked down before heading for the water and when in the pool, the watch was never any further than waist depth and for no longer than 5 mins.

I'd recently emailed Ryan @ InTime (where I bought the beauty) RE using it in the pool and he assured me it would be fine.

NOW.... I'm lucky I don't have water swirling around inside the case and it's still ticking away, but it's pretty cloudy on the inner glass from the moisture.

Have you guys got ANY advice on how to fix this thing or at least prevent it from getting worse in the short term? I'll head for a watch repair store the minute I'm back in the UK, but I'd really love to try save the movement etc.

RE the image ; it doesn't seem to be that clear, but the moisture is all around the outer edge. Also, that ugly horizontal line is on the inside and only became visible when the moisture flared up.

Really hope you can help!

Thanks,
BP.

Best bet is to try sit it in rice overnight and see if that has any beneficial effect on it.

Spend the time to learn how to move the case back crown and the movement. You need to take it apart and dry it properly, ifs on the dial I bet the moisture is in the movement as well.

Shizzle & Sur ; thank you guys for your advice - much appreciated.
Figured out water made its way in due to a slightly loose caseback I hadn't noticed... so annoying!!!

Managed to work the caseback off with my hands, dried the tiny amount of excess water and used the heat of the sun to dry off any moisture.

I'm glad to say I think it's fixed and I've avoided any real damage and I'll get a pressure test on it when I'm home.

Thanks again gents.

I dont really like it when dealer assured buyers that the watches are water resist when they arent even tested. Most reps I have received comes with case back that are not tighten.
