[Help] Want some advices on these navi reps

Hello,

I would like to buy a new rep and I focus on Breitling Navitimer. I am not a specialist at all so any expert comments are welcome on theses reps:
They are said to have swiss mov.

According to you, what would be a fair price (new items) ?

I would be careful with the statement swiss movement. If they have ETA7750 then the price is around 700 USD.

From which dealer are they coming?

Well, the 1st two are pictures of gens. If you are seeing these advertised as reps, run very fast in the other direction.

The 3rd appears to have a Asian 7750 movement, because it looks like there is a gap between the date wheel and the dial.

The last picture is rep. Wrong datefont and gap on Asian 7750. Don't believe what the seller said. This is not a swiss eta. Asian 7750 for sure!

Same for me. They had not somme common flaws (even the 3rd !)

If I look closer, the numbers on the rep insert are quite close to the crystal and the insert looks good (exept red triangle not sharp enougth and insert markings seems to align properly with the dial markings

I was wondering if the 1st and 2nd were gen because on the 3rd the obvious lack of AR coating can be seen easily. They come from the same dealer.

The volume of knowledge these guys have just at sight is amazing

Be careful dealing with whoever behind that website. It's using genuine watch pictures.

There are a couple more flaws such as the bezel rotatable ring doesn't really line up properly, crispness of dial printing as well as the quality of the bracelet.

So far I would suggest if you are looking for good Navitimer rep, get the standard 6-9-12 7750 layout. Then you don't have to deal with sunken datewheel problem, even then you still need to modify it in order to make it much better. For instance, none of Navitimer rep comes with excellent AR coating out of the box.

Anyway, this rep costs around 200USD from Ruby or other dealers.

Had a response from Ruby. Model 6-9-12 nat available. Too bad. I read there are problems with 9-6-3 versions. It is stell the case or are there more reliable now ?

Never heard of any major problems with the 3-6-9 Navi. Mine is pushing 4 years and is still my best performing rep.

Difference between the two is only the bracelet so I would love to hear your comments on the leather version. Additionally, the pics seem different than your review and I am curious if these are newer versions of the rep or the pics are of the gen.

I think she means 'the actual watch she will ship', not an actual (Gen) Breitling. Here's something else you may want to consider: when I ordered my Navi with the steel bracelet from Joshua; I also ordered a matching leather strap from him- here's a (bad) photo...

I would venture to guess rhat it's the exact same watch as Ruby's (although now I see that I may have paid too much). Ciao, Arty

I would love to get Andreww's comments on the new reps as I am very interested in purchasing this rep. I bought my first rep in China this past year and it is of this navitimer model - but the qarch is quartz and the subdials are silver. Much different than the original but more to my liking. However, I am looking for an 'as accurate as possible' version of this watch.

Any advice on how to get some more action on this thread?
