Hey guys,

I'm going to have some extra time on my hands after all my tests are done and wanted to start modding my 111N V3.

I was thinking to shave the CP to flush and polish it. Maybe also make the crown guard pin flush as well. I attend dental school so I thought I'd make the most of it and make the most of the lab supplies.

If anyone had experience with this or more ideas that I can do along with those 2 things please let me know. Any suggestion will be appreciated!

Thanks!

I used with success a nail file (rubber side to polish) like this:

My opinion

Leave the watch like that
It is good enough
It is not worth the risk

I thought the V3 came with the polished and flattened canon pinion anyway?

+1, you might end up doing more damage than good or do like I told you, buy a cheap PAM and practice on that one before you go for broke...

Haha alright, maybe I won't mess with it.

I feel like I want to do something to it though lol. So I thought about buying a noobmariner and modding it, but when I got the noob it was too noisy. The rotor could be heart when I was just moving my arm slightly

I've got an idea: buy a new strap and attach it with your tools. That way it'll look great; you'll get lots of bang for your buck; you'll have done a serious mod; and you aren't likely to wreck anything! ;)
