help selecting DSN111 (?) = confused

Hey panrepstis,

DSN had this new CG for his 111s that looks closer to gen in April:

Then he offered this in June:

Which one is closer to gen? Or is he selling the same ones but just posted old pics?

Also, is it just me, or did his crown get thinner on the later one? I know palp crowns look awesome but are actually thicker than gen 111s, making it actually a "tell."

Educate me please... I'm kinda confused. :?

Other than the lever pin, those look the same to me?

The best way to make sure you get what you want is to reference DSN's pictures with your order and he'll send you pictures of the actual watch before he ships it.

Palp/Pam crowns are still the most visually accurate crowns available, IMO.

I contacted DSN as I am also about to order a 111h from him.
His reply was that he is selling only one 111h now which is labeled under the "ultimate 111h'" on his page...
check it out...that is the one he is selling and it comes with two of the three straps shown for $360.00...
I'm ordering tonight if I can do the WU payment online.

I have a Ultimate 111h from David, and I love it. Compared to the Gens, there are the obvious things like the "Officine Panerai" on the back, the size and placement of the numbers... but those are very slight issues compared to the great craftsmanship and the beauty of this watch. If I'm not working, I wear this watch non-stop. I love it.

hmm... I mean they both look fantastic, but just a little different.

March~April one has flushed pin and June~July one has a dome shape to it.

Yes, i understand. For me, the dial on mine seems a bit more greenish. I wish i had a pic on hand.
