Help/Questions about PAM's

Looking to add a PAM to my growing collection. Maybe I am just new to PAM's but I have a very hard time telling many of them apart. Obviously case sizes vary but most are 44mm. I have spent time looking through the photos on the dealers sites and so many model #'s look exactly the same to me.

Please educate me as to how to tell one from another.

I'm in the same boat.

In short, there are Luminors and Radiomirs. Luminors look more modern, Radiomirs look
more vintage and sleek, even though they're like having a steel Ortho AllFlex diaphragm on your wrist.

Everyone here likes the "Fiddy," the PAM127...kind of if a Radiomir mated with a Luminor.

Personally, I'm down with the California and old style stick marker 249s. They seem just a bit more...uh...Panerish to me.

I own a Fiddy and a 083 (blue face titanium) - mainly because they were the only ones I could tell apart from the rest!!! :lol:

Honestly, I like Pams quite a bit. But after all this time looking at them, I can tell very little difference between most of the 193.6 models they have. Some have seconds at 9, others have none. Some have Chronos, most do not. I even look at pics from members who have modded and fixed or improved something (usually the cg or the cannon pin) and I can rarely see what they are talking about.

Thanks for the info, glad to know I am not alone. I can see models with sec. at 9, and i can tell SS fro Ti. Looking at getting a Ti since nobody makes a rep of the Omega SMP Ti. Maybe the 177h.
