Hey everybody!

I've recently acquired an Arktos GMT from the used forums that was sold by Tony during the $99 sale.

I got the watch and it ticks like a champ, but the issue is that the watch loses time or even stops registering. the second hand still runs though.

I took it to my local watchman to adjust it and thats all he did. It was running under 28800 bph and he corrected it.

At first, it was working well, but then I woke up this afternoon at 1:00 looking at my wrist and reading 3:00 AM.

Anybodayy have any advice they can give me?

Thanks,

-Sam

Advice....hmmmm...get up before 1:00 in the afternoon!!! No seriously it sounds like the power reserve is running out way too soon.. I think it needs cleaning and servicing. The problem may be fixed after that.

I thought it would be that also, but if it was a power reserve issue, wouldn't the second hand stop also?

oh ok i did not see that the second hand kept moving--so sorry..sounds like the hands may be hitting but i am sure you checked that..i would say a trip back to the watchsmith may be needed.

I agree with waterluver, take it back to your watch guy and explain the problem as you have to us.

Firstly go again to your watchsmith
If you have no solution you must consult a especialist rep watchsmith
If you are in Europe: try Wiz
If you are in USA: try "G", forum name: "14060 or 16610?"
Good luck
