HELP! PAM111 or PAM005??

I'm new here, but am a huge watch nut like the rest of you guys. I'm looking at add my first PAM to my little collection. I'm completely torn between the PAM111 N V3 and the PAM005 N V2 from TimeShops.

I'm pretty familiar with the cosmetic differences between the two watches with clear caseback, sandwich dial etc. I read another review on here that there are issues with the 111 swan neck? I love the look of the sandwich dial, but am a tad hesitant with that the differences with the clear back could be a dead give away.

Any insights you guys can give would be much appreciated. Thanks!

KLaw - definitly not a dead giveaway. the reason it is even known about is because here at this forum we micromicromicro analyze each detail. from more then a foot away who is going to call out your incabloc. not to mention, your watch stays on ur wrist right?

The 005 is a great watch dont get me wrong - but if you want a sandwich dial then you should go with the 111N.

if the incabloc is THAT much of an issue for u - puretime now offers this watch with the correct y shaped mod. something to think about.

Thanks Rusik. Good to know it's pretty much a micro nitpick issue; and its true it absolutely stays on the wrist 99% of the time. The thread another member did on the ultimate tear down was incredibly impressive. I'm definitely leaning towards the 111. I find the different depths in the dial at certain angles completely mesmerizing.

I recently 'had' a 005 with a 111 caseback. Honestly, no one is going to call you out on it and take it off of your wrist. I wouldn't be too worried about being able to tell if it's a rep with the differences that aren't noticeable without having your eyes less than a foot away from it.

With that said, my brother who isn't even into watches noticed the 005 and managed to talk me into giving it to him for Christmas. I'm currently waiting for a 111 that he purchased for me. I wanted to try out the sandwich dial for myself anyways.
