Help: PAM Luminor Flyback

Hi guys,

I just joined this forum as the watch bug recently got me earlier this year and already have a collection during my recent trip to China. Big Panerai and IWC fan and I need assistance on figuring out which ver. PAM this is? I believe its a 212 but i can't seem to find this version on this forum. And, should i pick it up for $75? Seems like a steal but I was thinking of passing and grabbing the new 253 Regatta Flyback istead.

Thats very wrong in many ways. If you want a beater then it might be worth it...but I know I wouldnt pay 75 for it...

Well....I wouldn't pick that one up for $75. It's a pretty bad rep.

I would go with the 253. I'm pretty sure you can find it in our Trusted dealers section. I know I've seen it at Puretime. You can also email a picture of it to Hont and he should be able to find one for you.

This PAM253 is from Hont. Got it about 1½ years ago. I can definitely recommend this one. Looks great, very comfortable. Hont is of course excellent to do business with.

thats the one Xplodr,that is one mighty fine watch.thats the model that got my attention to panerai.i cant get into the more basic looking pams but the likes of the 250 and 253....WOW!!

Get the higher quality one. Don't get a lower quality case. The crystal will either be mineral or saphire. Mineral is cheaper....it can scratch easier.

Usually...if it is specified as such. I would think Hont's higher end version would be sapphire. To clarify, you can ask him to make sure.

According to Hont, no factory uses sapphire for this model at this time.
