Help- pam 514

Hi everyone,

I literally fall in love with the PAM 514 and was wondering if a rep has ever been made. I contacted my usuals TD and none of them can get me one. The only one I found after some researches was from a non-trusted dealer and im not willing to take the risk to purchase from them. Anyone got an idea if one of our TD's got this model?

It has been rumored for some time ... nothing substantive as of yet. I'm sure it will be a big seller when it is released, but for now: patience.

Do not buy this from a Non TD. You will either not receive anything or simply junk.

A lot of us have been waiting for the 512/514 line to be released from one of the big makers. This has not happened yet and therefore our TDs will not be able to get one for you because a good copy does not exist as of yet. Just be patient as mentioned above. Something should be along soon, though i doubt it will come before CNY

I don't think that is going to be repped. Yes they have the right case (kw 532) and yes they have a clone of the p3000 movement, but this has a seconds sub dial at 9. notice how we have had a 372 rep with the clone movement for awhile, but we still don't have a 422. this is because the clone movement doesn't have a seconds pinion at 9. Also, the gen has a date window. the rep makers would have to figure out how to make a date window module to put on the movement and risk making it too thick.

There is, however, supposed to be a 512 rep. Angus promised that it would be finished last year (still nothing) so it should be finished soon (I hope)

Now that the 512 is repped, this seems like a no-brainer.... Especially since the p3000 clone available. Any updates?

All the other 1940's case Pam reps have no dw (512, 513, 532, 587, etc). This seems to be the roadblock.

But I'm sure it's a matter of time before the Chinese figure out a way to get it done (just not during CNY).

I'm gonna get a 622 from Sead, then maybe put a sterile dial from a 532 on it. Close enough for me. But having a date is great.

Was the PAM 514 ever produced by any rep factory and what would be an alternative model for a 47mm or 45mm Radiomir? (except the 622) Only the 572?
