I have searched the forum and found no solution to this, so i think of posting this thread to ask for help.
I wear my pam 359 on my wrist for everyday ( from 08:00am till 10:00pm), i took it off when i went to sleep at night, but the power reserve never lasted for the whole night.
I woke up and see the watch time stopped at 04:00 or 05:00 am.
I have sent it back to the factory to get it fixed, but factory said there was nothing wrong with the watch and told me to fully wound it first.
I fully wound it and it lasted for 30+ hours, but why PR is so low on normal wear?
Should i get it serviced, where is the best service place for this kind of rep watch?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks man.

Hmmmm this sounds a lot like my recent 329 purchase.

Let me guess ZF?

It sounds like an auto bridge issue. If manually winding gives you a good PR, then its not usually a mainspring issue.

Its not a difficult task for someone that knows what they're doing, but if you arent familiar then I wouldnt risk it. You might be able to troubleshoot a little though. When you wind the crown, does the rotor spin at all? When you manually wind, does the crown turn fairly easily and smoothly or does it feel gritty and have some resistance?

When i manually wind it, the rotor doesn't spin. Is it a big problem?
I have two pam, 359 and 508, and they both share the same problem.

And if i wind the crown clockwise, there is resistance. But if i wind it counterclockwise, it turns smoothly. Sead told me that winding it both ways are fine.but i always wind it clockwise.
Am i doing it wrong all this time?

When you turn the crown CW thats how youre supposed to wind the mainspring. Turning CCW does nothing, which is why its smooth. As for the rotor not spinning while manually winding, thats how its supposed to be, so thats a good thing. As for whats actually causing the lack of PR when being worn, the only way to diagnose would be to have the movement in hand.

Since both of yours watches have the same problem, is it possible that throughout the day your wrist isnt moving enough to keep the mainspring wound? If you happen to have a desk job and dont get around too often, the watch will be doing a lot of "sitting".

Thanks a lot for the info.
I move a lot throughout the day, i have a sevenfriday rep with miyota, and have no problem with the PR on normal usage, but my pam PR is so poor, it always stop when i'm asleep. This is why i'm a little bit worried whether the movement is damaged or what.

Without playing around with it to diagnose, it's difficult to know. But stopping through the night is definitely not normal. A full PR should get you 40+ hours.

I'd put money on this being the issue. When I first bought my gen Sinn 356 I was having a similar issue (Swiss Valjoux 7750), PR seemed terrible compared to my other automatics when worn normally, but a full hand wind and PR was fine. Turns out since the rotor winds unidirectionally and I simply wasn't active enough I wasn't keeping it charged. Bought a winder that lets me control the spin direction and duration and now it never dies.

You might try doing the same.
