Help needed! Gen or Rep?

Hi everyone, I'm about to pull a trigger on a panerai 243 but I need to confirm if this is a gen or Rep. Need help from the masters here.

Its a great watch, I wouldn't buy the gen though. Rep is a bang on! Same with the 111H. I don't know why folks go gen on these. To each his own.

From your pics, it is gen mate. The printing on the caseback is very deep and crisp. And the pearl on the bezel is also well made. Hence I might say it is a gen. But please do note that I am not an expert. Cheers

Haha! I guess I'm kinda fed up with the quality of reps cos I did get 2 pam243 reps before, 1 was DOA and the other died a week later. Also had problems with the bezel being loose and all that drama.

I do agree with u on it being super reps. That's the reason why we are having difficulties differentiating the rep and gen now!hahaha.

All of mine, (v1-3) had tight bezels. 1 of them had movement flaws. Angus fixed it once and speedy G fixed it for good the second time. If I would put in a gen 7750, it'd be perfect. I suggest you order another and have them make sure the watch is solid.
