Help needed! 202A, 203A

Hi All,

Looking for a PAM 202A or 203A, Super Mod. Is there anyone can help? Or if I plan to work on a project like this, what would be the best components to build it?

I am new here too, for the past month I have done nothing but read and read, the same person comes up again and again when it comes to top notch Panerai Reps, his name is Davidsen or DSN as he is often reffered, he is an RWI member and you have to contact him via a Private Message to do business, he will let you know how things proceed when it comes to buying a rep off him.

Search for him here by using the search tools procvided on this forum read up on all posts releating to Davidsen, it will educate and let you form an informed opinion on whether he is the right modder for you.

There are of course other modders here on RWI, but DSN seems to be highly regarded, I am yet to purchase from him but his watches go for a minimum of $400 dollars and up.

Thanks Replica..... Since the watch I am looking for is in PVD finishing and discovered Davidson's PVD case has some minor problems especially the pin on CG needs to be flattened. But if I do so, I need to re-do the PVD so it is another hard time.....

Dial: FGD -- Yes, absolutely. There is nothing better.

Hands: FGD -- Yes, again, the best available.

Case: ? -- Well, Kruzer at RWGjr is working on a Pre-V case project, if that pans out, it will be the easy #1 option. If not, the options go down hill quickly. Davidsen offers the only "out of the box" case with the correct double-screw lug bars, but there are other inaccuracies with the case. There are some older cases that have the correct case and bezel shape, short/stubby lugs and square, flat corners. They are very rare and would need to be modified to accept the double-screw lug bars.

CG: Little Hero is the best option out there. Followed by Toro Bravo, IMO.

Case Back: Jakob -- Without question.

Movement: Asian 6497 -- Sure, why not. The rest of the watch will cost you plenty and there's no real benefit to splashing cash on the movement.

Thanks all for the friendly replies! I have been looking into the sales section from time to time, not not much 202 or 203A are selling. Understood that it will price up to 1400 but waiting for six months is really a killer......

A V CG would be a good option, too, if you can find one. I was only listing the options that are currently still being produced.

Do a search over at RWGjr for it - that's where they were being sold. V doesn't participate much over here.

They are very similar to the LH CGs, and a bit cheaper. However, the level of finishing was not as good.
