As you can see in the pic, the "skrew" protrudes a little...Considernig that I have little dexterity, is there a way to put in place without having to remove everything?

Ologoff, I myself had this same question once i found out about the issue in this forum.
Take a look in the tutorials sections and it will answer many of your questions.

I will save you the search for this one:
http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/watchdudes-pam-cg-25369

I have not tried this for my two PAMs yet but plan on doing so this weekend. Please post pics of your results when you are done. Best of luck!

frig, wouldnt it then look recessed? i think the problem with these reps from a while back is that these pins were rounded instead of flat. I think this is a very simple mod. If he does not have the right tool i think i large size needle or a bobby pin could get the cg pin out.

then all he needs is a fine nail polisher and a polishing cloth.

But then again i cant judge because i havent tried it myself yet

Yes, file the pin flat. It should be a very easy mod provided you have a strap remover or a proper tool so you dont risk to scratch your CGs or case.
