I’ve been offered this and thinking about buying it.
It just looks a bit off to me.
If I decide to move I will have it checked by a professional of course, but writing here to save myself the time and hassle.

So this would an MK5.

Immediate flaws I can see:

• Bezel pearl is low quality
• Bezel insert not right
• Bezel scalloping incorrect
• Those lug holes don't look large enough
• Crown looks incorrect
• Merc hands incorrect (too thick)
• Dial printing around indices is way too thick!

Absolutely not gen, I won't pick apart farther.

This is one of the biggest tells. Take a look at the gen lug holes and how much bigger they are!

Not the same watch. The "MK5" has rounded lugs. This has pointed lugs indicating an older vintage. Completely different watch.

Yes Vinted it's a french company that now is well distributed in most of europe.

But it is completely unmoderated. That's were I source most of my G-Shock collection and also with those there are more fakes than gens...
