Just received a 388 from m3m (I have a feeling I'm really going to enjoy it!)
Only problem is part of the movement seems to have come detached.

I haven't had time to open it up yet, just trying to pre-empt any trouble I may have.
I see where the loose piece goes. My question is how does it attach? Two little screws on the edge?

Suggestions are appreciated!

I believe those screws are only decorative and these faux plates are just glued on. I am not sure what glue would be best to use in this situation, but i am sure some of our more 'hands on members' will be able to chime in soon

Yes, looks glued.
I have never glued parts at a movement but i would use gorilla super glue.

Ah, that's good to know guys, thanks for the advice.
If I didn't know it was glued I'd be looking everywhere for screws.

I'll open her up and see if I can take care of it tonight.

If just remove if it were my watch...not worth risking damage with glue. Not even sure what would be the best glue to try.....

It will run fine without it, so it's safest just to remove

I can confirm that it's glued.

I'm actually doing that right now until I get some glue af.

Shouldn't be hard to fix though.
