Hi all,

New to the hobby and am very quickly building my collection. I know I want a Pam next, but need help figuring out which one. I already had a look at the spreadsheet, and have spent a lot of time looking at the various models. I even considered heading to the Pam AD here in NYC but haven't had a chance just yet.

Apologies if this question gets asked a lot.

Here's what I know I want.

- I have a 6.5" wrist, I don't think I can go bigger than 42mm.
- Dark grey/charcoal or silver dial
- Light brown calf or croc strap
- Polished case
- Good replication
- Somewhere between $200-$300
- I don't know what the deal is with manual winding but I think I prefer an automatic movement.

Any help is much appreciated!

111N Noob.. 44mm, pros: looks a tad smaller, (6.8 wrist here), very good replica in your $ range, wide choice of straps/buckles; cons: manual mvmt, you'll have to wind it every 48 hrs.

G'luck and hope that was helpful.

P.S. Best PAM reps are in 44mm.. (or bigger) FYI.. and NO silver dials available :)

+1 to the 111N. Extremely accurate, and will suit your wrist size fine.
There is also the pam390, those have a nice colored dial, so take a look at that as well.

There are some PAMs of 40mm, but they lost, IMO, the character of a PAM.
Go to 44mm and you will be satisfied
PAM 111 Noob, PAm 005 from H, PAM 029 Noob ...

Try out the 380. Its 45mm but with out the CG it wears smaller than the 44mm luminors.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'm still leery of size - think I might have to head to the Panerai shop and try em on to see for myself.

Btw - any recommendation on where to purchase? Of course from a TD...but which one?

They can all get the same watches, so down to your choice. Read customer reviews etc.

Any who actually have what you want in stock!
Thought about a Radiomir? They wear smaller than the Luminor?
Ceramic 292 is a looker too.

Not a fan of the bezel on the Radiomir's - and those without bezel's are seemingly 47mm+

If it were me i would grab the OEM rubber strap, and purchase a higher quality leather strap from a TD here.

any of the 44mm would be fine for your wrist, I even have a 47mm and my wrist is only 6.25". it just depends what you like and what you get used to wearing! the 111N is a good choice, as is the 390, or 360 if you like black.

Thanks for all the help guys.

I like the dirty brown dial of the 390 - thanks for the recommendation!
