I'm having an extremely difficult time choosing between the black pelagos and the blue pelagos. From what I've read it seems like V6F and ZF have the best models. Could I get either one and would be okay? I think both colors look absolutely stunning.

Black is classic and will look good with any outfit.
The blue is very vibrant and packs a statement but think will only look good with certain outfits and colors...

Help me choose!!

I went with the Black V6f.

I feel that the blue is a touch pretty and will only suit certain situations but Black is good for all. IMHO.

I am currently getting a black Pelagos. I like the deep and vibrant blue but it wouldn't be suitable for most outfits and situations. I went with V6F since they have better QC and overall finish (ironically mine had crooked marker though). I tried the watch in AD before buying and it is an absolutely amazing tool watch. You will love it! Good luck with the purchase!

I'm in the exact same position so will keep a close eye on this thread!

I am leaning towards the blue but appreciate that the black can pretty much be matched with anything!

I'm also leaning more towards the blue when looking at the watch off wrist, but once I see shots of it on wrist it only looks good with certain colors/outfits while the black looks great in every situation.. this makes me want to buy the black one as it's going to be my daily. This is one of the hardest decisions I've had to made in a while!

I feel like the blue one might be too much to wear every day.. don't you think?

All depends, if you can comfortably rock it, i say go for it. If you like it people are going to too. But if you are not 100% sure yourself, its not for you.

Went to AD today and tried on both - have to say the blue looks great in person and I will have to go for that.

Not to say the black doesn't look good, but I have enough black watches and nothing like the blue pelagos. It's very unique!

I love both, own the black, and want to pick up the blue too (not a replacement, but in addition to).

I do think the black is more versatile, if it's going to be like your only watch (or only black diver). If you have other black dialed watches, or another black diver you wear often, maybe I'd go blue. That being said, I wear my black Pelagos over most of my other black dialed divers (BB Black, BP 16600, Omega Seamaster 300) to the point I'm considering selling some of the others, so that is definitely my preference.

Damn now I'm having a tough time deciding again! I do dress casual 90% of the time being a student and all.. and the blue is just beautiful.. I feel like I would regret and ponder what having the blue would be like if I got the black... fuck maybe I'll just go for the blue one...LOL

Have the black and been trying on the blue MANY times(gen). I like the color but really doesn't suit many situations and when I went out with two friends to try watches they commented that it looked "toyee" as in a toy color. Still like it but i see what they mean.

The black is just so versatile and amazing. You would want to wear it in nearly any situation except black tie events(could still go if the dress code is not so strict)

I've decided to get the pelagos in blue as I've found a member selling the V3 ZF with a prof xtal on it. For my next black dial watch I'm planning on getting the NOOB CrPO or a NOOB V7 Sub :)

I hope I don't regret the decision of getting the pelagos in blue!! I feel like once I see it in person I will fall in love with it.

The blue is good looking but you are limited in when/wear you wear it. The black is classic and can be worn with anything. As far as whether to go V6F or ZF, check out all the reviews on RWI. They both have different issues. Decide which issues you can live with.

Looking forward to the pictures, I'm also planning on buying a Pelagos the only big thing holding me back is the markers on the dial...
