Help, just arrived from dealer, dunno what to do

Hey gang, the thing that retains the strap bar is missing, so the watch is unwearable. If i ask for it to be shipped to me would i be able to install it ? Are there any workaround solutions ? I ordered the watch for a friend and now i feel a bit embarrassed that he cannot wear it. I may keep it for myself and order him another one.

No fat needed, just the same thickness as your current lug bars

It's a common problem with the QR system, I believe gen owner suffer from it as well. I order a bunch of those spring bars in 24mm and 26mm just to keep handy if this happens, or if a lug screw hole gets stripped.

Easier to buy a pair of springbars than a set of QR buttons.
