[Help] Is that a real BB Zf v5 ?

I bought this watch that was supposed to be a Zf v5.


I found it strange that it doesn't pass the water drop test like a sapphire but I read that some sapphires don't pass it because of the AR treatment.
It took me a long time to go to a watchmaker to have the sapphire tested and now I have to wait because of the quarantine.

Then I found that the bezel had some play but as I never saw any other Zfv5 so, it's maybe normal.

I also found that the crown seemed to be engraved less deeply than in the photos of the sellers.






And now that I opened it I discover that the movement is not engraved.




I need your help, is this a real Zf v5 in your opinion ? If not .. what is it ?

The movement that is not engraved is not important to me.

It's a good watch that keeps the time well but time goes by and I wonder more and more often if I have what I bought...

Hi...I can see this watch for sale on the Toro Bravo website, and it seems that this version does have the engraving on the rotor. It's seems a little bit strange that this one does not. Do you have pictures of the back case?

I'm not an expert by any means, but my first thought was that maybe it is a watch from Aliexpress, but usually these copies have a date window on them, so I don't know! From what I know, the new Shield and V4 doesn't have engraved rotor (didn't know a v5 existed tho).

The pictures on the Td's websites shows rotors engraved . (but they also give wrong thickness)
Apparently the V5 is just the V4 with a Nato strap bonus.
The bezel in the video seems legit for you ?

That is a ZF watch but it is not a the latest version on TD websites either denoted V4 or bizarelly by some TD's the V5 with no further updates as they were only made in the SHIELD version . Copying the 2nd edition of the genuine Tudor BB the 79230n which had an in house MT5602 .That is a Rose dial which copied the original genuine issue watch the 79220n which had the 2 line Rose dial and an ETA movement .
They stopped making these on version 3 i think . Although the V3 had 2824 with an engraved rotor so i would say that is a V2 .

Someone mentions TORO having these ( Rose dial ) for sale as V5 on his site , that is an ERROR if you read underneath it describes it as the updated V3 . The play in the bezel is what you get when you buy a fake watch ! ZF are known for producing really spot on watches asthetically but with poor build quality . My BB V4 has a pretty good click to it's bezel but a little play though not as bad as yours .

Did you buy this on M2M there was a post describing one of these as V5 super rep a few weeks back ? I was going to point out that that this was wrong , but i'm not too popular with the mods so didn't bother in case i was accused of thread shitting . If i remember the sale went through without any changes by the mods . This version ISN'T CLASSED AS A SUPER REP due to dial print errors .

The first version of the Tudor BB eta 79220n was 13mm , the current second version 79230n MT5602 is 14.8mm .

I'm concern to know if i have buy a real ZF v5 or not ...

I want to know if i'll could sell it as a V5, one day.
