Help identifying is this 508 gen or rep

Hi guys, I came across this and he's claiming it to be a gen but from what I see I think it's a rep.
The pearl color is slightly yellowish and the date wheel is just wrong.
For the date wheel the owner claims that as it's going thru the next day therefore it's not centered.

Thanks Kilo! So I was right. Don't get why these people would tell rep as gen.

Huuummmm....
I am not so sure if it is a rep.
Look how even are those minute markers on the bezel.
And also, for my eyes, those minute dots on the dial look like glossy, when we know they are mate in reps.

The date could be just turning as it is past 10:30, which is when dates normally start to change. As mentioned, the hour markers on the dial look perfect and the hash marks on the bezel are evenly applied. But then it could just be a particularly excellent rep. That's how good the PAM508 is.

Interesting. Anymore inputs? I'm not sure how does the date wheel works on 508. Anybody who owns one (Gen or Rep) could give it a try and share your foundings here? Appreciate that alot.

This is a gen. Look out for the pearl. That patina (if it's the right word to say) is almost flushed with the outer pearl ring. Another gen tell would be the 8 black dots. They're perfectly curved on their circumference which sits in perfectly, unlike the rep which is pretty sharp (unchamfered). 45 and 15 min markers are bold. U can see it from the 45. It's an obvious gen tell too. The REG is smaller unlike the rep. This is 101% a gen. Unless of course he frankened it with gen bezel and dial and markers

Oh. Forgot to mention those line markers from the pearl to 3 o clock. Especially the 2 smaller dots at 5min and 10min. They're thicker, bolder, unlike the rep, thinner and smaller. The rest of the lines on the gen is slightly thicker than the rep. So yeap. My head on the chopping block that this is a gen.
