Trying to identify this movement so I can replace it
also I cant even figure out how to remove the stem . There doesnt appear to be a release button .

That looks like a Seiko NH35 or something similar. Had to fix one of those for a friend the other day. You have to lift that little tab up and pull the stem out.

It took me a while to figure that one out. lolz. I mean, there’s plenty of things that looks like a stem release. Like the little screw very close to it. There’s also a little button looking thing near it. It’s a very odd stem release but I just put a very small screwdriver under the tap and gently lifted it up. Not really sure if the tab going up released it or if it was a combo of both the tab being lifted and pushing the button but the stem came right out. Plus, mine had half a stem in it because it snapped so that was a hot mess.

Not really sure why yours is blue but I would be very careful to not chip any of that paint off.
