Help ID what movement is in my yachtmaster

Dang, well, is this worth putting in a better movement? Would a rep watchmaker be able to upgrade this? Does the rest of the watch look like a decent replica. I mean it has all of the things I know to look for , even has the crown etched at 6oclock on the crystal….
The bracelet feels a bit flimsy and light for sure.
Only paid 200. So I could put in some cash to make it a better rep. Or should I cut my loses and junk it?

Honestly, that's a $50 Canal street rep. Look at the dial, bad fitment, datewheel.... we can go on and on. Happens to all of us at some point. Chalk it up to a learning experience and move on.

@Kosakowski I’ve had almost every variant of this watch and own the gen. The Clean version is 99% similar to the gen. If you get one of those you won’t regret it.

Are they easy to come bye. Is there a wait? Not sure if yachtmaster is the one I would chose if I had the choice.
Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean? All TDs have access to this watch. If this isn't the watch you're after then I'm not the best to give advice.

I still think the cheapos are quite pretty watches, wear it when you play golf or use a jackhammer or something like that. Plus you can do fun experiments like swimming in them and betting on how many trips it takes until it leaks.
