Guys, please help... I just broke the pin of my rad and some part of it left in the pin hole

What should I do to remove it from the hole?

The pin that came with this made from some kind of plastic is it? Where can I get a decent replacement for it?

This is the picture of the broken pin

Take the screw out and try blowing in the hole, if not, you might be able to get a pin in there to help jiggle it out from behind.

The pins on my 292 are steel and I think replacements can be sourced from Panatime.

Good luck

Alex, many thanks for your suggestion!!!

It works!!! Half of the problem solved now I only need to find a good pin replacement.

It's confirmed that the pin that came with my Noob 292 was made from plastic...what a pity.....

Alex, I've checked panatime and they sell in package of 4 bars 4 screws and 2 connectors.

What are the connectors for? I think I don't see any connectors in this radiomir.

Luth, amongst your 70 reps, which one is your favourite? I'm curious

The connector is to connect between 2 lug bars, not sure if rep comes with connector but see your strap whether is there any connector left inside there.

Your connector must have fallen out when it broke. It is the link to keep the 2 pins together

The broken part is the one attached to the watch, I suppose the connector is in the strap right?

Yes if there is any. It is use to connect between 2 lug bar together.

As above, the connectors are basically a tube which make the two bars effectively one when you put the strap on.

The way I've done it in the past is as follows:

1) Put the connector on one bar and poke it into the strap
2) Put the other bar into the strap (and connector) and line up the ends which go into the case
3) Wiggle the case ends of the bars until they line up with the holes
4) Guide both bars into the case at the same time carefully (with the case upside down so you can see the screw holes)
5) Put the screws in with 222 Loctite and tighten gently

You'll screw it up a couple of times but, if you're careful, you won't mark the case and the screws shouldn't ever come out.

I've got my 292 on today and the strap has been on over a year without ever having to retighten the screws.

Good luck and enjoy

Thanks Carlton & Alex for the sharing.

Tranz, for me it looked like it was made from plastic, doesn't feel like metal, and as you can see in the photos, the way its broken looks like plastic thing.

I might be wrong though

Alex, just curious, does your 292 is the full ceramic from Noob as well?

Instead of Panatime, what do you think of this, is it the same or better quality?

No, mine is a 292M from H Factory, it is still full ceramic though and the pins are certainly steel.

WSO parts are used by plenty of people on here but I've not used them personally, that set looks nice. I have bought from Panatime in the past (a set of PVD radiomir screws) and found them to be excellent. It wouldn't surprise me if both didn't come from the same supplier!
