From all reports, these are getting SCARCE. I would try Ruby, Trevor, PureTime, maybe River, too. I think someone already posted on rwgjr that Josh and Andrew said they are out?

Just keep in mind that on a man's wrist it will look rather small and "poor", keeping in mind the minimalistic design of Pams. I have a thin wrist and was thinking of buing a 40mm. Finally, i bought a 44mm one, which looks great. Now, my previous watch (a 40mm one) looks very small to me.

@no_one: thanx... looking around silix site as I write...
well... yes... i know 40mm looks like girly type of watch... but im kinda skinny guy... and not tall... hehehe... so... everytime I wear a bigger than 42mm watch it looks like I put my mothers living room watch on my wrist... hehehe... so... im heading for the almost extinct 40mm pams hehehe... or should i wear with pride a 44mm watch????

42mm Radiomirs are also a good option. They probably wear a little smaller than the 40mm Luminors, actually. They are thinner and the lack of a CG offsets the bigger case size...

Dunno the models off the top of my head, unfortunately. Check Josh or Andrew's site, they are separate from the 45mm Rads....

I'm torn too between the 40 and the 44mm. My first rep was a PAM050 which looked good since I'm a thin guy, but my wife doesn't like the 44's on me. Personally I think the 44s offer the best style options. The thickness of the case is when things can get out of hand like with the Arktos (still one of my fav's), a thinner case (12-14mm) would look fine on a skinny fella like yourself. It's all about balance.

Good luck finding your 40mm rep. I happen to like the varied look of 40mm vs. 44 mm PAMS, but I like both.

The look of 40mm PAMs is not necessarily insubstantial on men's wrists, esp. thinner wrists, but it's a very different look

just a matter of taste here, no absolutes even with people with <7 in wrists.

Thats funny because my girlfriend teases the size of a Sub on my wrist. She wears a 049 but wants a 44mm. Tiny wrist too, and mine's a 7in. I can't do less that a SFSO or 44mm personally. MAYBE a 42mm Cartier dress watch.

well thanx a lot for all the answers... now im betwen the 40 or 44mm... hahahaha... i still want the 40mm because i think it would look better for my taste... but... in the other hand... i have been told that the best pam reps are from DSN, so... theres only 44 option... hard call i guess... but... whats the point here... to have a GOOD watch... or a so... so... watch that You think looks go along with your wrist.... hehehe... dilema here... maybe material for another post...

@jurgenk: both look great... but i like the most the 40mm... by the way... its that a mod DW... or a gen?

Alas, you'll have more luck tracking down a 40mm Luminor than a 42mm Radiomir. I know, because I tried about a month ago. The factory stopped making 42mm Radiomirs about a year ago, and Josh and Andrew have gotten rid of all their stock. Josh and Andrew's websites still have a number of 42mm Radiomirs listed for sale, but they really need to take them down. They don't exist anymore. Only chance to find a 42mm Radiomir these days is to buy it off a member. The Wempe 204 is, hands down, the best of the 42mm Radiomirs (if you can find one).

Ahhh yes, a 42 mm Radiomir would be really nice, love the Wempe...

The PAM048 above (40 mm shot) is a gen.

Gave up on finding a 40 mm rep at some point last year. would still love to get one, as a backup. got a datewheel for it that's all ready...

Yeah the 42mm's are proving hard to find. There was a Wempe 204 listed on one of the other boards and I was tempted though I'm downsizing my collection currently. I gave the GF a modded first run 050 that I picked up a while back the other night and see loves it. Now she wants me to find her a couple straps and teach her how to change them.

Actually, TA, I think you lost that Wempe to me. I've got it on right now, and it's one of the best reps I own. So, um, sorry about that.

Hadn't seen you post this up. It's funny a couple have turned up since that one and I've passed on them. I might get one at some point. Was thinking it would make a good dress watch.
