Thanks for the reply. I'm referring to the pins that attach the strapsIf you're talking about the crown stem then it sounds like you messed up your keyless works one time when removing the stem. This happens when you depress the quick release too far. The clutch lever is now no longer in the clutch. This is actually really common. There are a bunch of guides on fixing this if you're interested. Most require taking down the dial and approaching from the front. I've seen one that tackles it from the back but haven't tried it myself.

No worries! Although u did get me excited that there was a fix....teaseOoop! I'm sorry, very embarassing.
Does anyone know of a solution for a faulty quick release mechanism (noob pam243)?? My pin is not locked into place and slips in/out without needing to engage the quick release button.
Any help would be great! Thanks

The qr pin does go back into place once pressed, it doesn't get stuck. It seems like the locking mechanism that holds the strap pin in place is what's faulty.Sadly not much you can do if the qr is bent (internally)
Does the pin pop back into place? The qr pin not strap pin

It's that we pin. It has a notch in it. When you push down the notch lines up with the strap pin hole, when you let go it becomes a block. It's worn or something, if it could be rotated it would probably work, but depending on the qr you have you might have a tiny Allen head to unscrew it or it could be pressed in place. Got a close up of the qr you can post!
