HELP: Cross Thread

Hello everyone,

Today I cross threaded the hole holding the crown guard screws. What is the best way to fix this? Do I need to tap set the thread?

Since the hole is not fully stripped (i.e. only 1-2 turns at top), will a longer screw help in this case? If so, where should I find those screws?

The watch I have is a DSN MM20, which I believe it is the same case/crown guard as the Fiddy.

I am based in Seattle, and I went to couple local watch shop this afternoon, apparently non of them carry such screws...

Any information is much appreciated. Thank you guys!

I think you need to retap for a larger screw.
