I have been going through search after search and I am going in circles. I really can't find a post that has compared any two of these side by side. Most posts are about one model and an occassional 2 cents tossed in on another of these. Most posts are also months old not considering new dial, lume and CG and crown replacements. I need a little input from the board. I guess the real priorities are QC, dial, movement, lume, crown and CG. I don't plan on doing anything else besides strap.

I know these are all good in some ways and they all are within about $15 shipped to me with money transfers, PayPal etc. Which of these competative PAM 177h's would you pick and any reasons why appreciated?

I had a Thumb 177 and a Davidsen 055 the feel of the Davidsen and the fit and finish were excellent. That being said Thumb offers a very nice product as well and he is in the CONUS so that might be a consideration.

DSN is great to work with. Email him what you want and he replies within a few days.

One thing I am confused about with DSN. He is always working on several improvements all the time (good thing). How do you insist on getting the latest versions of everything? Doesn't he still have some older dials, lume jobs, CG's etc to get rid of? Sometimes in these situations the "cool" people get the new rev and the others get whatever is around. I am just wondering how best to position this if I go his direction so I get his best effort.

It's pretty simple, you just tell him you want the "latest" and "most upgraded" version. He'll even take a pic of YOUR watch before he sends it if you ask him to. He's done it for me on custom orders.....

I don't have any pam from the forum instead the DSN ones, and they are great, love them.
