Help choosing best Grand Carrera 36

Hi everyone,

1st of all, congratz for this great forum. It's amazing, how much i already learned since I joined yesterday
Been reeding a lot about reps, and since I always wanted to have a Tag Heuer Grand Carrera 36 I come here now, to request help from the wise mans and woman's

I wanted a close to gen rep, so no rubber strap, since on the tag heuer website I can see they are leather strap, at least the ones I would like to get.

So I start to look here and I came across with this 2 watchs from this 2 TD:

since this one is JAP Quartz is not so similar, but have a nice looking but I would prefer a red one

this one is automatic but the problem is that it have a rubber strap, which doesn't look like a genuine one.


Can someone please advise where should I go? I have afraid that the A7750 could cause a delay in time so the quartz probably would be better option, but then it goes away from the most similar to genuine, since the original one is automatic and you can see the mechanism.

Sorry for my English, and once again thanks in advance for all the posts and threads here in this great community.

You can't say quartz is a better option in a forum of watch freaks. 99% of people will tell you to go with 7750 version as auto is just auto and can't be compared to quartz. Automatics can cause more troubles than quartz, that's for sure, but they are also really reliable and youdon't have to worry about it.
Second watch you linked is best version of this watch available on market and it's the one to go. What do you mean by "rubber doesn't look like gen one"? It's the same strap that is coming on gen, I had it and it's great. I even loved light vanilla smell of it.

I would highly recommend it over the leather as rep leathers are piece of sh*t and rubbers are always of good quality.

Thanks for your fast reply I might then go for it. It's kind of expensive replica, but I love that watch.
I'll enter in contact with them, and check if they can provide me with QC pictures.

I don't know about the rubber or leather strapped versions, but I have this SS bracelet version from Puretime. It's damn near perfect in movement and replicating the gen.

Can you tell me where the seconds are? Is it at 9 or 6? Thanks! I wish puretime had video for this watch. How do you like it? Any problems so far with the movement?

Looking for the same. Which factory makes this watch and are they all the same? With exception of the band.
