ALE

Ale wrote in another thread that I reported on it.
I ordered and paid for the PAM 026K Noob with an internal Swiss Unitas.
But from what I wrote Ale I think I did a stupid thing......:lolcina:
Someone might say or explain why the version with the Swiss Unitas is not good and instead the version with the Chinese Unitas yes........:frusty::mob:?
Thank you all.

Well it depends. Are you make to tell a swiss Movt from Chinese.copy? Are you able to judge the condition of a movement such as if all parts are new, genuine and not refurbished or mixed up with Asian? If your answer is yes and the price premium you paid is less than 150$ then you got yourself a good deal. If the answer is no then you can't tell what kind of deal you've got and whether it justifies the premium. Generally speaking Asian unitas are quite good and very cheap compared to swiss version so many prefer them and simply swap movementa if they die. I invest in swiss only for the watches that I know I will keep for a long time or frankens. The rest are happilily ticking away with Asian motors.

It simply isn't worth the extra money but is a fine decision none the less. Most Swiss movements are repaired old ones or clones anyway so it's better to get a new clone than pay more for a chance at a old Swiss.

I have payed 170 $ for Swiss Unitas.
Is good ?

Man, it is same as asking whether 35K you paid for a car a good deal or not. It makes no sense to ask and even makes less sense to answer as there are no specs to go by. What brand is your car? Does it have extras? Is it new or used? Has it been modified? Has it been in an accident? And so on. Now extrapolate to your question, think. Bit and then ask. Good luck.
