Hi All
this serves as my first post here.
iv'e been lurking awhile, buying a few watches from wbk, josh, and trusty. but, now i have a problem, i've got the panerai fever.
problem is i just don't think i can pull off a 44/47mm case with my 6.5" wrists. so...i'm looking for a good 40mm pam.
i know davidson has none, and josh told me the ones offer leave something to be desired (i appreciate his candor) so any suggestions folks????
thanks
lumpyone.

hey, 6,5 inch wrists for pam is no problem, but it will take you a while getting acostumed to having such a big watch on you arm!

You could start off with a cheap 111 from silix or trusty to test em, and then latter, go for one of davids 111hs

Dont be afraid of a 44mm PAM, Run from that 47mm!

I thought th esame think & now I refuse to take off my 111H noobMarina.

I cant tell you how many people have remarked on my 111, I hear "man, thats a large watch" immediately followed by "that makes a statement!"

Here is a good example of your traditional Daytona (dont know the case size)

The pvd (one pictured upside down) is LWA's (Thumb Watch Accessories) Black Seal, it is 44mm and his wrist is about...?? 7.25 inches which is a total guess.

My 111h is 44mm as well, my wrist is 6.75 which is a chicken wrist compared to most!

Supermanx Daytona ?? I dont know the size but my guess is 42mm without the pushers.

I tried on LWA's Fiddy, it is 47mm and there is no chance in hell I could pull off wearing it.

Hope this gives you an idea of what it would look like.

49mm on 6.75 wrists. It's not only wrist size but also hand and forearm size.

I have a 6.75" wrist and wear 47mm 183s, 45mm POs, 44mm 111s, Seiko Monsters, Breitling Navitimers ... If you've seen my wristshots, you'll know that 6.75" can wear just about anything short of a 49mm hubcap.

You're right. Wow. The bently looks very alright on you. I feel ok to get the 45.5mm PO now.

Hi!
6.5" wrist here.
I just acquired a Pam 253 Regatta chrono from Joshua, you should check it out.
It's an absolutely gorgeous watch, slimmer profile than the usual 44mm Luminor cases so it sits better on a skinny wrist, I was pleasantly surprised.

Consider the Pam 212. It is 44mm... but it has a smaller diameter bezel than Luminors, so does not look quite so huge. Get Joshua's latest versiuon with 28800 bph movement, sapphire and AR:

Or a smaller Radiomir might be to your liking... the Wempe for stainless or the 147 if you like a touch of rose gold:

Or go silly and get a 187. After wearing this wrist-wrenching monster for a while, wearing any other Pam will come as a welcome relief :D

it appears u have some irritation going on with that pusher on the rose gold, do u think it is the plating or do u wear your watches snugly

but i do agree those r fine choices

Joe,

That's his Pannie Line!

If it isnt the cg causing it, it's the pushers that will do you in!

Don't be silly, Joe. You - of all people - should know that Pam pushers lie well clear of the skin. Look here:

So what caused the scabs on my wrist?

I don't know.

One too many Chinese girls, perhaps...

T'aint nothing that beer and paracetamol won't fix.
