Hi

My name is Gjermund (and obviously very creative with screen names..) and I'm from Norway. I've been lurking for a few days, but I figured I'd better show up in the post count, sooner rather than later I'm extremely camera-shy, but I might be able to get a photo of a watch posted, as soon as I can get my camera to work

I'm not much of a watch collector, I have to admit..the one I'm currently wearing is a gen Tag Heuer 2000 I've worn more or less since 1998 and I used to have a Tissot which I gave away to my dad. I bought a bad replica a few years ago, and that's my only adventure into this particular area. That was a Tag Heuer Monaco that ended up in the trash a while later. Well, it's not like that's a unique situation in the replica world, right?

Anyway, as soon as I found this place, I ordered a Speedmaster from PT. And that's my story, to date.

Well, I seem to have picked up a nasty obsession with golf equipment in the last few years, and combining that with watches (even if they're replicas) makes me worried for my bank account

Next thing you know, you're getting an IWC like mine, a By-Tor-like Breitling or PO, one like Edge's vintage Sub, Cwai02's PAMs so you can copy Exper's strap collection... or ... um, one of anything Tanfo has.

And should I just get a link remover or should I invest in a full tool kit now and be done with it?

BTW, there's no way I'll ever look at a Breitling and feel like buying Bombastic yes, but if I ever change my mind, I'll give you...

Well shuckks.. if you like to work on things yourself, a tookit would be nice to have... and if you shop around, not all that expensive.. especially compared to sending a watch out for work..

Actually, it was more a joke, as I'm completely useless More like, after a while when I'm completely absorbed by it all, I'll probably want to open up a watch anyway, even if I *know* I can't do anything useful (except perhaps "modern art"), just to have done it. And at that point, I'd have an excuse to have the full kit

But I'll probably just get a link thingy and see if I can make heads or tails of that first
