Hello,
As many others, I am new to the rep scene and have been slightly overwhelmed by so much knowledge and experience provided by everyone here. I’m so grateful this community provides so much support and insight to help rookies like myself. I’m doing my best to learn as much as possible before making a purchase but was hoping to possibly get some guidance. As of right now I’m on the hunt for the best super clone available for the Daytona panda. So far from what I’ve gathered the Clean V3 Daytona is the best option available besides Franken builds. I was hoping to get some input on the clean V3 Daytona and any suggestions from anyone who has already purchased one on a TD along with any mods suggested to get it the closest to gen as possible. I apologize for such a long post and excited for any and all feedback.
Thanks again,😁

Hi and welcome to RWI! Glad you found your way here.

Don't apologize, long intro posts are welcome.
You already did good work, clean or BTF will he the go-to factories for Daytonas.
As for mods, sky's the limit but probably most people would begin with the crystal. I expect gen dials to be unobtainable and super expensive bit there's options there, too. @Storm. Can advise better

Please take some time to read the sticky threads in the new members area (all subsections), learn the basic forum rules and get some very good advice in the process. A number of questions has already been answered there, this is just an example:

As a new subscriber, you've already been directed to this thread, please read carefully and look through the linked additional threads:

Another good thread to read to understand where RWI comes from and some fundamentals is this:

Most of the information you need to know to start is there. If you're preparing to buy, read the stickies before ordering. When you're finished, you can continue learning by reading the stickies in all remaining sections. If it's stickied, it's important information.

If you intend to sell, read the sales rules and all stickies in the sales section with particular care and make sure you understand each single rule. Sales rules infraction is taken very seriously here. As a new member you are not eligible to sell. Using the sales section is a privilege, eligibility must be earned, make sure you know and understand how.

For anything else, feel free to reach out to @eBoy or me, we're happy to assist, advise, direct, explain. Don't hesitate.

Hey Bro Welcome to the forum.

Clean v3 is only the better option in black and even then needs to have their markers replaced by a btf donor dial.

If you want to have a great watch with no mods, buy a BTF V2 Panda. Build quality and movement quality in my opinion is better than CF.

The Clean Factory panda is also a verY good option, but I would advise in having it serviced after receiving it and changing the crystal as it's a bit cloudy. Markers on the clean dial are not very good. Subdials are wrong.

Clean has a tad bit better of main 5-liner print than the newer batch BTF, but I don't believe that to be so noticable that anyone but a person with a 50x loupe can see.

the subdial shine, subdial print and thickness of BTF subdials are more on par with the Gen.

As I said, buy a BTC, make sure you look to get a correct thickness subdial version and you will be a very happy camper.

Thank you so much for the guidance, I don’t think I’ve seen much regarding BTF. I definitely have some homework to do. I’ll definitely do some research to be able to identify the correct subdial thickness. Fingers crossed my next post is of my new watch!
