Hello evereyone at RWI. I am new to the site. I have been reading many publications. Most of them led me to share some questions and thoughts with you, so an opinion and info exchange is welcome.

1-Does any of you have an experience with a number of sites which ended up being the same people, called either United Luxury, The Finest Replica and Tagheuer.to? Unable to buy from them, again because of a model “in stock” was not……in stock, at least one of their operators was decent enough to let me known that -perhaps- the watch I am looking for (a TAG Heuer Carrera CBN2A1E.BA0643 blue panda Heuer 02 and ceramic bezel) could be back in stock next January or February. In order to ask again or not to waste my time, I’d appreciate if any of you have a story to tell about them?

2-Not to get disappointed in terms of quality, I prefer to check sites offering Super Clones, which would be the ideal search for me. However, I normal get confused about how much difference there is (even in the watch replica jargon) between Super Clone, AAAAA replica, Master or AAA+ replica.

3-Does any of you have a list of countries which are hard to deal -and inconvenient- for replica watches sent by post (custom retain risk, for example)? I’ve read France and Italy are tough. At due time, I’d basically need a watch to be shipped to Spain, Chile or Paraguay. I might add a couple more EU countries. What about those?

4-In an ideal “replica watch world”, I have a rather long list of watches I’d love to see repped. Again, I’d like to share it with you and read your comments, information, advices, etc. P.S.: yes, I am petrol head, so al lof these watches are Racing or motorsport-oriented chronos.

Tag Heuer Carrera CBN2A1E.BA064 (blue panda, if available, this is the one I’d first buy)

Or the same in black and gold or green…

Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre 16 Fangio Limited Edition…or the other panda dials

So many of the mouth-watering vintage Carreras…

Heuer/Tag Heuer Autavias, both vintage and new in several options…

Those Camaros either with 2 or 3 subdials

Monzas old and new…

Monacos, again vintage and modern (including some new sophisticated colours)

Zenith Chronomaster Revival El primero A385 (this would be the second I’d buy, particularly the Brown sunburst dial)

Chopard Grand Prix de Monaco Historique (this would be the third I’d buy, although I have normally seen models priced at US$ 380-450 approx. with two mistakes compared to the original watch: black date window with with White numbers when it should be the opposite and Crown pusher with Mille Miglia logo (belonging to other Chopard range) instaed of the correct vintage steering Wheel like in photo)

Chopard Mille Miglia Gran Turismo XL (this I had a very nice one until one summer evening in 2010 two guys in a bike pointed me with a gun and stole it, so I’d buy it again pleasantly)

It is my pleasure to be in contact with you from now. I’ll keep learning by reading your posts. Best wishes.

If you want to spend 50-100% more buying the same watches you can get from TD's here, go for it.

Tribefan, thank you for your reply. Yesterday, before writing this post, I checked here TDs and the result was that two watches were out of stock in a couple of them and the rest simply never existed. Should I found them or get them available, I would not hesitate to get them from here.

And I mean I checked/wrote/contacted one by one, patiently.

Welcome to the Rabbt Hole RWI - that's what I call an idea straight out of a picture book. I am happy to spend my time for you.

1. I don't know the sites myself, but I can say that there are many SCAM sites out there. If you stick to the (about 25) RWI TDs (Trusted Dealers) you are guaranteed to always get what you pay for. Most are local in a city in China (Guangzhou) which is home to the largest replica watch market and where the factories are based - so if a watch is replicated at all you can track it down.

2.
There are also marketing phrases in the replica area:
Superclone, Ultimate Edition, AAA, 1:1.....
In the end, it's a marketing phrase designed to catch them. The best thing to do is find out which factories produce your desired model, then sort out which errors you can live with (no replica is error-free) and then decide on a factory. Then contact a trusted dealer (often JTIME for beginners) by email or Whatsapp and ask whether model XY from Factory XY can currently be ordered. You should always do this, even if the model is available on the homepage (These are rarely up to date, which would be difficult with the sales figures). Not available means, for example, that a series has been sold out and it will take 2-4 weeks before the next batch is produced.

3.
You don't need such a list. The TDs either know how to ship themselves or outsource the shipping process to people who JUST DO THAT. Customs change? England leaves the EU? A customs officer in Holland had bad sex last week? You know everything ;) And we pay included in the price that we don't have to worry about such things. There is a replacement anyway, should a watch be retained. And an order cannot be proven by customs, so simply DO NOT reply to letters. (It must have been the boys next door who ordered a replica to your address;)).

4-In an ideal “replica watch world”, I have quite a long list of watches that I would like to see replicated. Again, I want to share it with you and read your comments, information, advice, etc. PS: Yes, I'm a petrolhead, so all of these watches are racing or motorsport-oriented chronos.

I'm out of the watch models, I can't be of much help to you there. Tag Heuer does have a few good replicas though.
JTIME is also suitable here: Ask Li (the seller and boss of JTIME) via Whatsapp about these models - he is directly on the market and can see what is available and what is not. He will also tell you if he thinks a model has been badly replicated and will not recommend you buy it.
"Gangster honor" is what it's called:)

I hope I was able to provide at least a little clarity :)

Greetings from the land of watches

Hello to you. I truly thank you for your reply, which was both helpful and clarifying. And you gave it a funny touch, too, like in point 3. Experts are experts, so I appreciate what they have to say, like in your case. Quite often, people ask me about a race car of the 1970s or what safety equipment is ideal for their motorsport needs and I am happy to leave feedback. Now, it is the other way round and you really sent some interesting thoughts about my questions. I could come back with more now that I know this blog has what it takes. Thanks again and have a nice week!

The TD's listed here are for the most part on the ground in China, and some have been for decades, in the only area in the world that produces the quality of replicas you are seeking. If they can't get one, then it probably doesn't exist. The exception to this is really low quality "gate" watches, called that because you can buy them on DHGate for $100 or less. Most TD's don't sell those.

Those sites you mentioned above are either scam sites or more likely, marketing sites that are selling the same watches here on Fborg and Insta at a healthy profit.

Any site that claims genuine Swiss movements is highly, highly suspect. When they claim that as an option for all of their watches, that is just 100% bullshit. You can buy 'some' reps with gen swiss movements, but even that is debatable. Those are usually models with Sellita SW or ETA 2824 clones in them. They may or may not be genuine swiss and they are almost assuredly not assembled in SW. The chinese do a really good ETA 2836 clone that is impossible to tell unless you are a watchmaker or blow up digital pics 15-20x. If anyone is selling you a Daytona with a gen swiss movement, run. Far. And Fast.

That was also a very interesting input, Tribefan. Thanks. I am amazed about the details I was able to learn through this site in less than 48 hours! It was particularly helpful to know what you mentioned regarding the specific movements and how untrue -but with higher profits- some sellers can be (when not scammers...). I had never thought it that way until now. You guys rule!
