Hello everyone!
I'm from Italy, and I've been collecting good-but-cheap mechanical watches (Orient, Seiko, etc.) for years.
I've always wanted to make a jump in quality and buy some 4 or 5-digit watches, but I always hesitated due to the cost. I can afford them, but I always stopped because, before making the deal, I started to think about what else I could buy with that money instead. I can't justify spending so much on a watch, considering that I wouldn't wear them daily and, after all, it's just a watch.
However, when I was looking around for Rolex watches in the gray market, I started reading about the danger of buying a replica in the gray market, and I found out that some replicas are nearly indistinguishable. I looked into it further, found r\RepTime on Reddit, and then, finally, this forum.
It's been 3-4 months of research, reading, and learning, and, I have to admit, dreaming. I discovered that I can wear watches I've craved for years at a tenth of the cost.
So, it's time to start this journey!
See you on the forum! Cheers
