I have escaped the matrix.

I have a deep and unreasonable hatred for rolex the company and the grey market in general, and when I saw how good these replicas have become I knew I had to get some. I almost get aroused seeing how triggered the dealers and "investors" get when they talk about high quality replicas. Brand premium and artificial scarcity is tulip fever. Nothing more. This market would not and could not exist if the gen producers didn't have a 1000% margin.

What's funny is a near 1:1 rolex replica actually fits into my collection and says a lot about who I am, which is what I think a collection should be.

Also for a guy who wears and abuses my watches(and everything else I own), this is such an obvious solution. I don't treat them well enough to deserve the real deal.

Now time to go into lurker mode for a few months and research. Maybe in the meantime buy some more gold bars with the money I won't be spending on a gen.

Most of the information you need to know to start is there. If you're preparing to buy, read the stickies before ordering. When you're finished, you can continue learning by reading the stickies in all remaining sections. If it's stickied, it's important information.

If you intend to sell, read the sales rules and all stickies in the sales section with particular care and make sure you understand each single rule. Sales rules infraction is taken very seriously here. As a new member you are not eligible to sell. Using the sales section is a privilege, eligibility must be earned, make sure you know and understand how.
