Having a strap dilemma

So I just picked up a Pam 089 and I'm so indecisive about what strap I'd like to purchase to go with it. I'm thinking a light ashy grey color croc strap might look nice with the anthracite dial but I'm looking to get opinions from the masses. Thanks.

Are you talking about a custom made (aftermarket) strap? Or one from the rep dealer?

I bought a grey "crazy horse" suede strap from Panatime. I love it. You should check it out.

I would go croc, Simona Di Stefano has some on offer on Paneristi and RG, peter.watchacc makes some great looking ones as well (oem style) and Orloff has some great croc hides.

I have it on another watch but I would try something like this:

Otherwise you can check oem gators or the new oem dark grey asso.

It's gray on gray (well, anthracite but you know what I mean).

If you're going oem I would suggest the new black (looks dark grey) asso like kilo said. very very nice strap it would go very well with the 089

And that butterscotch croc looks very nice as well. I'm just not sure how I would like that color on the 089

I'm with Kilo too. Croc from his picture or grey oem asso, both would look great!

I dig that grey croc though. The only issue is if you are anal about your leathers matching, that's a tough sell as not many people have grey shoes and belts/braces. Nice look though with the anthracite I think.

Not sure if this will help, but this is Peter's black nubuck. Has light tones depending on how the light hits.

I have a blueish grey I call my bluesteel and it's far under $300:

However, that is not what I recommend as the strap to go on the 089. I have a brown leather with silver thread, that makes the dial pop more so than a grey on grey look.

It's this leather with the silver thread that I use on the bluesteel

Or even this veg tan, with silver thread:

Fivo - the amazing thing about PAMs is that you can throw it on a different strap and change the appearance of the watch entirely. So many straps can work with this watch, why limit yourself to just one.

I think you have three great options and you should consider picking up all three of them :)

Gator for more formal wear, Ostrich for dressy but casual, and grey asso for the every day. With straps you really cant go wrong, and you can always C&R them on the forum. Orlof straps usually fly like hot cakes around here.
