Want to purchase santos xl (have 8 1/4 wrist) . Have read many posts praising the Chronograph A7753 .What are your opinions
On the Santo-XL SS 41.5mm X 10.5mm with 2829-2 movement?
I enjoy my pam177 manual wind, are the santos basically the same size
except the thickness? Whats the quality of the non Chronograph
Version? You opinions are much appreciated.

I have one, an A21J, for size facts I believe it is the same you are looking for.

I have some PAM's too.

The Cartier is very nice, big and thick. It is more classy than the PAM but it is not so discrete than we can imagine. The PAM sits more comfortable on the wrist because of the end of the strap on Cartier, it is fixed hard on the case, and it make it less comfortable than a regular strap.

For size comparisons take a look on these pics.

Thank you max

Can I inquire as to your wrist size?
Some of the TD's list the non Chrono XL version as 41mm others
List it as 38. I think they are measuring different parts of the watch.
I like the clean look of the non Chrono but am afraid it would be to small on my 8 1/4 wrist.

My wrist is 18,5cm.

I'll pick up my cartier and measure it to you, but I believe it is around 41/42 mm.
