Have these ORIS models been rep'd?

I saw these in the Gen forum. I love the Carlos Coste and the TT1 but want them with the bracelet not the rubber strap. Do they exist?

I guess the real question is does a rep bracelet exist?

In short, No on both counts.
They are cheap to buy as gens, so the Makers decide not to replicate something that is relatively inexpensive to obtain.

Last week i posted a very similar question asking about a stainless band for the carlos coste. I got a pm from a member who had done a mod to a basic stainless bracelet and posted it on another forum. I have a bracelet on the way from the 'bay. I will let you know how it works out.

Toolman, I have received the bracelet, but haven't done anything with it as of yet. It's going to need more than just removing a couple of links from the side to fit it. Apparently, it involves a dremel and a steady hand. I have a dremel, but as far as the steady hand goes......

I just ordered a Oris Chrono quartz on http://www.watcheden.com I also would like a bracelet. I have a Invicta 3077 or 3076 Scuba which is a Legal copy of the Oris. I actually have two of these watches. I will take the bracelt from the worn one and see if it fits the Oris Rep.

I am pretty sure you can order the Invicta Bracelet yourseves. The Invicta watch can be purchased with a Bracelet or rubber strap. Do some research. The model of the watch with the strap is the Invicta 3076 and the Bracelet version is Invicta 3077.

I want to make sure the Oris that I am receiving is free of defects (major ones DOA etc) . I set the time and let it site for 3-4 days on a table...then I will wear it for a week after I am sure it keep time.

Then i will try to do the bracelt mod.

Here is a link so you can see the two Invicta Scooby 3076 watches. Invicta makes a 3077 and it has a rubber strap. I think the bracelet is an option to purchase if you didn't buy the watch with the bracelet. I will see if the bracelt fits or can be modded easily to the Oris rep I have incoming. this is one of the latest Oris that has been reped...it's similar as the one you have posted only the chrono version...so there is hope to see the one you are after...

Here is the pic of the Quartz version I ordered from http://www.watchedan.com . They offer 3 quartz versions. Two look the same except for the bezel color and index # colors. The other version look just like the original 7750 Oris Coste. I did see a newer 7750 Oris Coste automatic REP on http://www.Silixprime.com . It looks like the one you posted and is called the ORIS TITAN. It looks pretty cool.

I am looking at the Invicta watch I own and they use a pin and collar to hold the steel bracelet to the watch. The collar is located in the center link of the bracelet. I am not sure how the Oris rep holds the Rubber strap on? I see two screws so I think there is some sort of tube like on Panerai or Bell & Ross. The bracelet might work with no mods or I might have to enlarge the hole in the center link of the Bracelet ? If this works well we can source the Invicta Bracelet so we can order it direct. The Invicta watch costs me $ 225 for each of them (I have two). One is heavily worn and the other is mint. I want to keep the new watch in tact and not canabilize it. I bet the bracelet costs $ 50 . This was the price difference that I recall seeing between the Invicta 3076 and the Invicta 3077 (strap version).

The Gen Oris Steel band costs $ 375 and the stap is $175.. I saw a aftermarket strap that will fit perfectly on ebay. Do a search for Oris 24 mm strap. The Bracelt is another issue. I know it is 24mm and is a president style. I will keep you guys informed when I see the Oris rep and how the Bracelet from my Invicta 3077 fits...or doesn't. :roll:

thanks for pulling all this info together. I think to really get what I want I am going to have get a gen. I see that costco has the ORIS line and I might be able to get a deal. I will continue to watch the dealer sites to see if anyone reps the bracelet. I know you can get the CC with the strap but I really want the bracelet.

I am still waiting for my Oris to come. WhenI get it I will see if the the watch will accept the Invicta Bracelet. It looks just like it but I think the ctr link may be to wide. Only time will tell. I'll post picks etc.

I agree Pannyforme! This damn hobby! You get all hooked on the reps which in turn just make you want the gens. I think I can find the TT1 with bracelet for less than a grand.

I agree buying the rep for 300.00 when you can pick up a gen TT1 Titan for 900.00 doesn't make much sense to my. I will say that the Carlos Costa rep is very good just not Ti.

I got the watch . A mini review in the General Rep Forum. No pics yet. Have to find the digital camera that my son took to school and never returned. The Invicta Metal bracelet will not fit . The ctr links are to narrow on the Oris. I am impressed with the value and service from http://www.Watcheden.com At these prices I might go for the Graham Chronofighter quartz.

I was wondering the same thing about these Oris watches. I tried a few on at the mall a few weeks back and they were huge. Super thick and felt great on the wrist. I actually never heard of them before but really like the design and overall dive look. Hopefully I can find a few from Joshua's site
