We've seen some reports that the gen boutique models (417 et.al.), and the 390 possibly, have violet tinted AR. This is in contrast to prior models which generally are thought to have colorless AR.
Now, KW claims to source their crystals from the same manufacturer as gen. And their crystals do have a colored AR.
So my question is, has anyone seen a gen boutique, 390, etc model lately, to be able to tell if the AR has in fact changed? I think seeing a gen would be the only way to be sure! It's really the only think holding me back from ordering a KW, since the crystal is, in my opinion, the most important part of the watch (equal to the dial perhaps).
