Has anyone repped the Breitling Econyl NATO strap yet?

I'd like to grab one of these, but not for $180. From what I've read online, these are just branded NATO straps that are made from special "Econyl" nylon thread. Of course, the only thing "special" about the thread is that it is made out of recycled ocean trash by some tree-hugger company. I just can't understand the pricing. If it's made from garbage, shouldn't it cost LESS? If Breitling can sell its high quality natural rubber strap for $85, its nylon strap should not cost anywhere double that amount!

Anyway, these could probably be repped for less than 10% of the gen cost. I checked our dealers and AliExpress, but I don't see anything. Has anyone seen a rep of these anywhere?

Haven't seen. The tree hugger company is OuterKnown I believe which is Kelly Slater's company that makes various lifestyle apparel. I'm not a nato guy but I bought one to try it's kind of the best one I've had (of maybe 5, lol) It's strong but very smooth and thin so you don't get all that flair out crap I hate about other natos and it doesn't irritate my skin with the rough texture. the 160 I paid is steep or I'd have more of them and I will probably only buy just that 1 though blue and orange would be nice.

I also never see them and don't know the reason for this price. But I read a post about this strap. I like the variety of its color.
