You dont build a slob, you either are one or you become one. Your kids are natural slobs.

that's a pretty sweet looking watch.

where would you get the case back from.

The watch is a GEN. I was think of putting one together with a REP. I'm try to source a crystal from ofrei. I don't think I will find a caseback like that so probably just use a blank caseback.

THE rarest Panerais ever made by Vendome/Richemont. And...the watch has been authenticated by Bonati himself, claiming that it was meant to be produced in 10 pieces. However, only five made production – but never sold in public – and three are currently owned by Richemont top, including Bonati himself. And now the fourth has a "Danish" owner (he´s´actually from the UK, but lives in Copenhagen).

So it's a pvd bronze and titanium watch?

I bet davidsen could make you the case back.

But what about the case? would you just use a pvd case.

Yes, it's PVD bronze and titanium.

I'm waiting to hear back from ofrei about the crystal. If I can get the crystal then I will decide on the case. Maybe Davidsen PVD case or a 036 from Ruby and do some oxidation on it. I'm not trying to make an exact copy but something similar.

Please notice the dome plexi crystal on this watch. To me, it's the dome crystal that gives it the uniqueness.

Davidsen could probably source a domed plexi, or at least a domed mineral that would look right..

a bronze case should be pretty easy to have made one off even hence the reason why the prototype was bronze to begin with. the Ti parts can be found and the caseback would have to be custom etched. Is that case back Ti too?

I want to try ofrei first for the crystal cuz it's cheaper there. I think it's like $5?

That could be the case that bronze was used for the case. The case was handmade.

The case back, I don't know much since there's not enough information on it. If you goto the "risti" site and do a search for SLOB you can read a story on how one guy obtained one. That's the only one you can find info. on.
