Love the watch but the difference in color between the hands and the indices is bugging me. Anyone have info on this? Is this typical for noob LMPO?

Is the V5 the one with the orange looking tip? That is the correct coloring as far as I can tell on the gens.

Thanks for the info.

I must be going colorblind or something. On your v12, does the lume on the hands look slightly whiter/brighter than the indices?

It's incredibly noticable on mine. Guess I need to try to source gen hands?

What's crazy is that indoors, the lumes looks perfectly matched.

Are these old watches or are they still available? Isn't noob gone? Along with the lmpo? I heard one of these was made with a 2892 at some point? Would be great franken case...

Good point.
That case should b slightly slimmer but I have never had the chance to compare it IRL

Not sure when the last noob LMPO was made. I believe the V12 was the last. Maybe around 2022/2023?

Looks like you have a v6 there. Not great pics, though, so hard to tell what the seconds hand actually looks like. Your second pic looks more like what I'd expect as opposed to the first one. But "Seamaster" in your first pic looks too red, too, suggesting the photo is not a true reflection. Does the seconds hand really look like it does in the first pic to the naked eye?

Adding photos of my V12 under the bright light. The slight hands and indices color mismatch is not that obvious at all. The red text might be a bit too red compared to gen.

I bought the watch few months back.

My friend, don’t worry too much about the color difference on the hands. That seems to be normal with the NOOB V6 LMPO. This issue also occurred with earlier generations – specifically when the watch was sent in for servicing and Omega replaced the hands during the process. Often, the watches came back from the workshop with noticeable color mismatches between the hands and the indices. Omega apparently didn’t pay attention to ensuring the color tones matched. So just imagine your watch has been serviced – and wear it with joy!

By the way, I recently had the opportunity to buy a set of original hands for this model on eBay. But I decided against it, because I couldn’t be sure that the color would match any better in the end. You’d really need to have the original hands in hand and hold them up to your watch to make a proper comparison. As I mentioned, there were different shades of white – and even if you find some hands somewhere now, there’s no guarantee they’ll match, except that you’ll probably end up spending a lot of money.
