Hey,

Got a little confused because I saw an Ebay listing for 3135 hands for 16200, 15200 and 14200.
Now the 16200 is a 36mm and others are 34mm. Do they have the same size hands or is it just a misleading listing?

And are 15200 hands the same as 14000? I’m guessing so, but I know here are more knowledgeable gentlemen.

I bought a gen 15200 case which I’m using for an Airking build. I don’t have a crystal or bezel, but I’m also hoping i can take the parts from a Raffle’s 34mm case. At least 36mm case parts are compatible except the backcase.

I don’t have the case yet, but I assume also the Airking dial will fit without problems. Can anyone clarify this?

Here’s what I’m looking to build:

As far as I know, Raffle's Airking dials are 28.5mm so they won't fit the 34mm case. But @manodeoro is the expert on this reference, so he will definitely know better. I already bought an airking 14000 build from him.

@FaekieOne

14000 cases are 34mm and the specs should be :
- maximum dial size 27.00mm
- rehaut opening should be 26.40mm
15200 case is 34mm so the side is correct for a 14000 Air King and we can guess that the specs are the same.

Raffles dials Airking dial is 28.50mm so much too big for a 34mm case.
Nevertheless I guess it should be possible to mod the dial and the case to make all this fit together.

Below is a pic showing the 28.5mm Raffles Air King dial ...
The BLACK circle is 27.00mm :
It shows how much material you will have to remove to make it fit in a 34mm
It could take a long time as you'll have to do this by hand ... using a dremel could damage the prinitngs
The RED circle is 26.40mm :
It shows how the Raffles dial will fit in the 34mm case after its size has be reduced to 27.00mm.
You can see that the "T SWISS MADE T" could be partly hidden
The GREEN circle is 26.60 mm:
It shows how much material you should remove on the rehaut (0.1mm all around) to enlarge it so that the "T SWISS MADE T" is completely visible

Important :
1 - I don't have a Raffles Air King dial in hand so I can't vouch it will work ... I'm just guessing
2 - when the dial diameter will be reduced to 27.00mm and the rehaut interior diameter enlarged to 26.60mm there will be only 0.20mm left all around to maintain the dial in place ... so you will have to work slowly and check every minute to make sure not to enlarge the rehaut opening too much.
So the best, IMHO, would be to first order the Raffles dial and resize it down to 27.00mm ...
- work slowly and without tools, just fine grit sandpaper
- wear clean latex gloves or finger protections not to ruin the sunburst and printing onthe dial
- take care to remove material symetricaly all around the dial
When the dial fits in the 15200 case just check if the "T SWISS MADE T" is visible, partially hidden or to much hidden.
Depending on that you can decide to keep the case as it is or slowly enlarge the rehaut opening.

Sorry you understood me wrong. I have a gen Airking 14000 dial which I’m using in a 15200 case. I’m taking the bezel and crystal from Raffle’s 34mm case which I also already have. I’m still waiting for the 15200 case.
