I am in the UK and found this Strap Maker in London. I wonder if any of you wise people might cast an eye over the website and offer opinions on quality and value.

http://toshi-straps.co.uk/

I fully appreciate there are recommended dealers on RWI but they are not in the UK and I cannot possibly judge as well as some of you knowledgeable folks. Please respond.

Everywhere I read, these straps get the thumbs up. I have been looking all over the place for some new straps recently and am about to order a strap from Toshi. I still get most of my straps from Strap Culture due to the value, quality and speed of service but they don't have the finish I am after, so I am going for my first Toshi!

Apparently, it can take 3-4 weeks for it to arrive but us rep fans are used to that!

I'm looking at that green Sage strap to go with my 388. Reckon it might really pick up those gorgeous markers. Would love to know what you think of your strap after it arrives.

Well, I have ordered a Cherry Strap for my 029M ( http://toshi-straps.co.uk/straps/cherry/ ). Communication is first class and I have been given a posting date of June 19th. Richard is very honest and I can't wait to see the finished article :)

I could not handle waiting that long with just the rep strap for my 29 so I ordered another Strap Culture in the mean time. That strap arrived today...

This is the Strap Culture one (in case anyone wants to know what I went for..) :-

I will post pics when I get the Toshi...

Got the strap today. :)

Really nice, pliable leather and beautifully finished. The cherry colour is hard to capture but looks great in the flesh. Easy to recommend this wonderful strap maker. Richard even included a letter which provided care instructions and general tips.

I get the feeling that this strap is going to end up on lots of my watches and I will certainly look at this strap maker next time I need another.

I took a couple of quick pics...

Really nice!! Can't make up my mind what colour to go with a 390. This would definitely work. Is that blue stitching?

The stitching is grey but it almost looks like denim in certain light. I found Richard to be quite helpful if you need your mind making up but the 390 looks like it's up for anything. I personally prefer the straps to contrast and showcase the dial and the 390 has that tobacco dial if I am not mistaken.. hmm a tough call!

I think I am actually selling myself a 390 here!

All I can say is I absolutely love mine and a strap from Toshi could really be the icing. I reckon I'll buy two from this guy.

Looked back at your photos after a couple of days and I reckon I'm gonna squeeze the trigger finger. Thanks for sharing your experience ... do you still love it after a few days?
