I have three Hamilton Chronographs with the 7750 movement. They are great watches and good bargains if you watch for the sales.

I have two Hammies, one with this movement and one with the 7750. Wonderful watches, IMO. I'd say, "Go for it!"

Steinhart will have a better resale value.

You can also find some decent used pieces on the gen forums,, recently found a gen Ball that was similar in design to this for just a little more.

This is not a good deal on this, just a standard price.

My advice, dont do it.

the best price I found for this watch was $445 with free shipping.
I dont like the steinhart brand that much.
They remind me of a brand you see advertised in a magazine pullout

Take a look at this watch for £100 , this has a polijot 3133 movement in it.

The significance of this movement is that polijot purchased the equipment to make this movement from ETA. This is a swiss tooling 7734 movement.

I do like that Oris.
But I like the 44mm size of the Hamilton better.
I want to get one moderately priced gen to wear as my daily watch.
I dress usually business casual with a short sleeve tommy bahama style shirt,
with the occasional long sleeve shirt.

That's a really good price for that watch. The case is only 40mm, which the OP may find smallish. Heck, I may pick it up!

All basically have the same movement and features. Now it comes down to a decision
I am leaning towards the Hamilton and Glycine because I like the size.

I've had Hamilton before....a JazzMaster chrono to be exact.
The only problem with the watch was that the reserve lasted too long!!!

Great brand, exceptional build quality and has a tried and true lineage to reference as well.

I highly recommend the purchase Natron.
